TTP - ISKP Nexus
In an interview to a Pakistani journalist, TTP Chief Mufti Noor Wali Mehsood confirmed that TTP enjoys close working relations with ISKP. After the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan. IEA faced 2 major threats, ISKP and NRF. On the other hand, IEA faced immense pressure from Pakistan to restrict TTP and secure Pakistan Afghanistan border on their side. But IEA has failed to do so as ISKP is attacking IEA commander, foreign Embassies and operating in Pakistan from Afghanistan. Blast near Russian embassy, attack on Charge D' Affairs of Pakistan, and now attack on Kabul Hotel which is famous within Chinese nationals are key examples. Weaponry left by US forces after withdrawal is taken by ISKP and TTP in huge amount. Due to pressure from IEA, TTP negotiated peace with Pakistan but also realized that sooner or later, IEA wont be able to pressure from Pakistan and they will stop TTP by force. Pakistani authorities have credible evidence that several factions of TTP are in link with Indian intelligence agencies just like Baloch militant groups. Aslam Achu of BLA was killed 4 years back was treated in a hospital in Delhi when he got injured in fight with Pakistani LEAs. Now TTP Chief established links with ISKP so that in case IEA pressurize TTP or try to disarm, they have an option to join ISKP. IEA on the other hand also realizes that if TTP joins ISKP, it will be a big problem for IEA as TTP has deep links and sympathies within majority of IEA, therefore they are not taking any action against TTP.
ISKP recently have published their stance against China and alleged atrocities towards Uyghurs due to the fact that several Uyghur Muslim militants have joined TTP and ISKP. Attack on Chinese nationals at Dasu Dam was a joint operation of ETIM and TTP where ETIM provided suicide bomber and TTP Swat Chapter provided logistics and ground intelligence. Around 200-250 Uyghur militants also joined ISKP. ISKP has announced revenge against China for Uyghur Muslims. Sooner or later, TTP will openly start operating along with ISKP despite the fact they are collaborating right now. Bankruptcy of Pakistan will further increase threats for China. It is need of time that Pakistan and China work together closely to end this menace.
